GHOST HUNT AT PARA-X  at the Lake County History Center 415 Riverside Dr., Painesville, OH  Nov.2-3, 2018  9 pm -1 am

From the 19th to 21st century, the former county poorhouse (now our history museum), has given shelter to numerous residents, both wicked & benign. Orphans, the injured, and criminals have all had a role in sculpting the history of this grand brick building. Enter our labyrinthine halls for an intense wander through the rooms and into usually restricted spaces. Follow guides as you linger in hotspots of spiritual activity, like the old infirmary, and the foreboding cells in the basement. Try to draw out our lingering, ghostly occupants, both charming and terrifying! Whether you’re new to ghost hunting or a seasoned investigator, there’s something to find in our unlit corridors. Watch & learn how to operate various forms of ghost-hunting equipment from EMF detectors to voice recorders; have your own tools like a flashlight or cellphone? Bring them along and see what you capture. Doors open at 8:15 pm.

Limited to the first 40 people registered! Due to the nature of this program, children under 18 are not permitted. A liability waiver must be signed in order to attend. Need more information?  Call 440-639-2945.

Tickets: $40   Buy online:    by mail, or by phone 440-639-2945.
