Online Collections Tutorial

Our entire collection is over 31,000 pieces. While we do encourage you to visit the museum to see and research the full collection, we are happy to bring you certain collections that are most feasible, and most requested, online. If there are collections that you would like to see uploaded to our online portal in the future, please let us know!

Cleveland Foundation

Our online collections are made possible through a grant from the Cleveland Foundation Lake/Geauga Fund. They were originally launched December 2015 with 10,000 records and have continued to grow ever since.

In addition, we welcome you to visit the Lake County GIS website. On it, you will see our aerial photos (dating back from 1937) combined in layers for you to explore the changes to our county’s infrastructure through time. If you are interested in seeing hard copies, please contact our collections department at 440-639-2945. Special thanks to David Phares for contributing so many hours to make this possible! https://gis.lakecountyohio.gov/lakenavigator3
